My 89-year-old mother, who is diabetic, suffered a fall and broke her hip. After spending two weeks in the hospital, she was transferred to Tice Valley Post Acute. We are very grateful for the excellent care she received there. After several weeks of physical therapy, she is now back on her feet and getting around with a walker. The staff was kind, attentive, and well-trained. Her room was cleaned regularly, and her diabetes was carefully managed throughout her stay. The nursing and medical team did a great job adjusting her pain medication to keep her comfortable while still allowing her to fully participate in mobility training. The physical therapy staff was especially patient and understanding. My mother wasn’t always eager to attend sessions at the scheduled time, but they consistently came back later and gently encouraged her to participate. The social worker was also incredibly helpful in coordinating her care and ensuring a smooth experience for our family.
Staff have been really great. Special shout out to Vlad, Koko, Megan.
Horrible place, family member was in hospice and they would act like he isn’t there. He had one request every single day to help with going number 1. No matter how many times he called they wouldn’t come. Only good thing is the nurse named Trisha I believe if that’s not correct let me know I will come and find out her name. She was an absolute godsend and was the only who cares and even talked to us after his passing. She would always be happy to help and cried with us and made us feel so comfortable. Besides her all the others were useless and were so fake. Don’t listen to this place and don’t think this is out of anger that I’m writing this. The family member had passed around 3-4 months ago and I’ve thought deeply before writing this. So if you love your family and want them to get the right care please don’t look here.
